RELEKTA: Winning the Award is great branding externally and internally

1. What does it mean to you to win the European Business Award?

We are very proud to have achieved this prestigious award.

2. What did you gain from going through the Awards process? For example, did writing the application focus you on your business strategy?

The process involved many people and it was exciting to see how we made it from one milestone to the next. We got to know each other better as we worked together on the various challenges – and that will always be one of the most important gains in any organization.

3. Would you recommend other businesses in Europe to apply? If yes why?

Yes, certainly! It is very good branding, internally as well as externally. Our employees are very proud and such an award is also very good branding towards customers and potential candidates.

4. What top tips would you give to a new company regarding:

- the entry form:

It takes time to find all the info you need, so start early.

- the video:

Not everyone has a good appearance on video. Do rehearsals to see who performs better than others before the filming starts.

- the public vote:

You need to have a good social media strategy and use all channels to the maximum.

5. Why do you think the European Business Awards are important?

It is important because it helps companies to mobilize and to compare themselves to others. That a small company from the outskirts of Europe can become “Employer of the Year” should be an encouragement to all.
