6 New Categories introduced for the 2019 European Business Awards

By splitting 3 of our existing categories - The Award for Innovation, The Digital Technology Award, and The Customer and Market Engagement Award - into turnover brackets*, we have introduced 6 new categories to the 2019 European Business Awards. With a total of 18 categories available to compete to win this year, the EBAs are set to be the biggest yet!

THE AWARD FOR INNOVATION WITH TURNOVER OF €0-25M / WITH TURNOVER OF €26-150M / WITH TURNOVER OF €150M+

Key criteria for the Award:

Idea generation

Creation, nurture and development of solutions

Effective commercialisation

Operational effectiveness

What the judges look for: Focusing on idea generation and its path to commercialisation, The Award for Innovation will be awarded to the organisation that demonstrates its ability to create, nurture and develop either products, services or innovations to their business models. Recognising the importance of innovation, these changes will not only improve the company’s commercial performance and operational effectiveness, but will also benefit its customers and stakeholders.

 

THE DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY AWARD WITH TURNOVER OF €0-25M / WITH TURNOVER OF €26-150M / WITH TURNOVER OF €150M+

Key criteria for the Award:

Operational performance

Workflow effectiveness

Customer experience management

Increased turnover

What the judges look for: The Digital Technology Award will be awarded to the organisation that best demonstrates that through their use and application of digital technologies has substantially improved its operational performance. The digital technologies can be either developed in house, or by an external supplier and should show that workflow has become more effective, customer experience management has improved, alongside increased turnover, improved margins or cost control.

 

THE CUSTOMER AND MARKET ENGAGEMENT AWARD WITH TURNOVER OF €0-25M / WITH TURNOVER OF €26-150M / WITH TURNOVER OF €150M+

Key criteria for the Award:

Outstanding customer experience

Highly skilled employees

Leading edge technology and process

Ongoing performance improvement

What the judges look for: Delivering an innovative, upper quartile customer experience within its sector, the Winner of The Customer and Market Engagement Award will be engaging with all groups in its market and will have also added a powerful USP to its brand based upon an integrated omni-channel strategy, leading edge technology and processes, measurement led performance improvement and highly skilled employees within its own organisation and its supply chain.
