Carlo Marini, Executive Board Member, EpicSim

Carlo Marini, currently Executive Board Member at EpicSim, an Italian regulated Fintech platform that provides alternative finance (medium long term debt and equity) to SMEs. 

Until March 2017, Executive Vice President at UniCredit. Carlo holds 20 years banking experience mainly in Corporate and Investment banking with major focus on the Corporate Mid Cap market segment at both Italian and European level. From 2005-2010 Head of Corporate and Investment Banking for CEE at Bank Austria, then Deputy General Manager of UniCredit Leasing in charge of international operations. In the past 4 years it has been in charge of developing the Group Service Model for International and Italian Corporate Clients. He has been Chairman and member of several Supervisory Boards in CEE, Germany and Austria. 

He holds a degree in Economics at Bocconi University and an MBA at Rotterdam School of Management.

Gabriele Tipaldi, Partner, RSM Italy Capital Markets

Gabriele is Partner of RSM Italy Capital Markets and he leads the Corporate Finance activities of RSM in Italy. Prior to this he joined Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati and previously he spent 8 years in Accenture’s Strategy Consulting practice and in Accenture Technology Venture (ATV), the Venture Capital Fund of Accenture.

During his experience Gabriele worked on several M&A deals and his experience comprises Venture Capital and Corporate Strategy projects in different industries such as Retail, Publishing, Media, Banking and Natural Resources and he worked for primary companies including Sony Entertainment, Il Sole 24 Ore, Telecom Italia, Gruppo L’Espresso and Autogrill.

Italian Chartered Public Accountant (CPA) at the University “L. Bocconi” in Milan, he holds a Master’s Degree in International Finance from the University of Pavia and a Degree in Business Administration from the University of Parma

Bartosz MIŁASZEWSKI, Managing Partner, RSM Poland

Since 2002 involved in RSM Poland and throughout this period, together with the Team, Bartosz has managed to change a small, few-person local accounting company into one of Poland's largest  audit and advisory firms, with over 130 qualified employees (as of 2015). In 2009 he introduced the company into one of the largest independent international audit and advisory networks – RSM International. By the end of 2012 he was the mastermind behind RSM Poland's taking over of the Warsaw-based audit and advisory firm Baltic Accountants and Consultants Sp. z o. o. He is an active participant of the international community, co-running RSM in the CEE area.

Within RSM Poland Bartosz is in charge of the transaction advisory department, supporting clients in processes of company acquisitions and mergers; he coordinates international due diligence projects. Bartosz is also an expert in advising foreign investors on how to plan and start business in Poland. Bartosz is a fluent English speaker.

Natalie Sediako, Associate Director, LGT Capital Partners

Natalie is an investment professional at LGT Capital Partners and supports the firm’s private equity co-investment activities. Prior to joining LGT in 2016, Natalie worked as an investment manager at PSP Investments’ private equity group and, prior to that, as an investment banker with Credit Suisse.  She has over 10 years of experience in private equity and corporate finance, with responsibility for sourcing, structuring, execution, financing and management of investments.  Natalie holds a B.Comm from Queen’s University in Canada and an MBA from INSEAD.
