ALL NATIONAL CHAMPIONS ANNOUNCED BY EUROPEAN BUSINESS AWARDS

 Europe’s Top 192 Companies Through to Next Round of Awards Programme

The organisers of the European Business Awards (www.businessawardseurope.com) have completed an intensive round of country events, held across Europe over the past month to announce all 192 National Champions from 28 European countries. Each of these companies now goes forward into the next round of the prestigious 2012/13 Awards programme, with 100 successful companies being awarded Ruban d’Honneur status.

Since announcing the National Champions, an esteemed panel of judges made up of Europe-wide business leaders, academics and entrepreneurs has been working tirelessly to assess all the companies in order to make an announcement of the Ruban d’Honneur recipients on 10 January 2013.  

This year, for the first time, entrants in the European Business Awards submitted a video case study, which was then uploaded onto the European Business Awards website. An online voting mechanism was introduced to allow the public to choose their favourite videos in each country and with over 35,000 votes cast during the six week period, this was a resounding success and is something that the organisers of the awards are considering again for the 2013/14 awards.

After the announcement of the Ruban d’Honneur recipients, intensive rounds of face-to-face interviews will take place before the names of the overall winners will be revealed at a Gala awards ceremony in April 2013.
