Simon Feary currently provides excellence assessments for organisations principally in the Middle East.
His previous appointments were as Chief Executive of the Chartered Quality Institute’s Chief Executive (commencing July 2008) and prior to that Chief Executive of the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA).
Before being appointed to manage IRCA in 1994, Feary was Managing Director of a pathology laboratory providing safety testing services to the pharmaceutical industry.
Feary has a background in biological science, having been a chartered biologist. His early career years were as a cytogeneticist investigating the relationship between genetics and the prognoses associated with various forms of cancer.
In 1992 he completed a Masters degree in Business Administration to complement his earlier qualifications in biological science.
