Ecorys is a global research and consultancy firm specializing in economic, social and spatial development for both public and private sectors. Ecorys is one of the oldest advisory companies in Europe, established in the Netherlands in 1929. Since 1997 Ecorys has been operating in Poland.

Ecorys Poland specializes in broadly understood consulting, consistently linking research, analytical, strategic and communication services. He has participated in implementing the biggest campaigns financed with public means: Investment in Staff (Inwestycja w Kadry), Mazury – Natural Wonder (Mazury Cud Natury); he was also involved in the establishment of approx. 100 new companies within the framework of European Social Fund. He has ran the biggest training project in Poland “E-employee” (e-pracownik), with value of 80 million PLN. He consider the internationalization of our activities and income to be our greatest success – at present Ecorys acts as Fund Operator for EEA and Norway Grants, managing 100 million EUR. Recently the company was awarded the distinction for being mothers’ friendly firm, as well as the prize of INTEGRATION Foundation for 10-years’ cooperation.

After completing his studies at Leon Koźmiński Academy, followed by postgraduate studies in the field of management, Mateusz Halicki achieved a PhD degree in economical sciences from Warsaw School of Economics. He has worked in Ecorys since 2007, performing various roles over the years. He is also the person behind an idea and creation of the first communication cluster in Poland (Creative Communication Cluster). In 2017-19 he was a member of the Council for IT Competence.
