LEENA PUNTILA

CEO, Bauer Media Oy

Leena Puntila has been the CEO of Bauer Media Oy since 1994 (previous company names SBS Finland Oy / SBS Discovery Radio Oy). Her career in the Finnish commercial radio has lasted its entire lifetime, for 30 years.  

Leena’s great passion has been the development of the Finnish commercial radio, both as a public spokesman, and in different positions of trust. She is currently the chairman of RadioMedia (the Association of Finnish Broadcasters)

Her positions of trust are or has been for example the member of the Board of Federation of the Finnish Media Industry, Vice President of the Association of European Radios (AER), member of delegation of Helsinki Region Chamber of Commerce and member of the Ministry of Communication’s Future of Radio Committee.
