ROTA SA has been active since 1984 and is the leading event organizer in Greece. With its continued growth and steady expansion, the company has come to represent the Greek trade fair market. Since foundation the company has accumulated a significant portfolio of events, having organized - together with its 4 subsidiaries - more than 500 exhibitions and over 40 conferences and events. The biggest share of these exhibitions has been planned and developed internally. Furthermore, ROTA introduced in 2003 the first purpose-built exhibition centre in Athens. Since January 2009, ROTA is manager and shareholder of the new exhibition centre METROPOLITAN EXPO at the Athens International Airport. Since 2011 ROTA SA has expanded abroad organizing events in Cyprus and Turkey.

Alexis Lagoudakis holds a diploma in Mathematics from Athens University and an M.Sc. in Management of Information Systems from London School of Economics. He speaks Greek, English and German. Before joining ROTA SA, Alexis has worked in the IT industry in Greece, Germany and the UK.
