The grupo Portucel Soporcel (gPS) produces and sells premium quality pulp and paper. It is the largest European producer of both bleached eucalyptus kraft pulp (BEKP) and uncoated woodfree printing & writing paper (UWF), where it ranks fourth and 6th in the world respectively. gPS manages 120,000 ha of forests in Portugal and is a leading producer of green energy. A forestation project is currently being developed in Mozambique with two concessions totalling 360,000 ha.
