Contronics develops and produces innovative and sustainable equipment to help keep food fresh. It is the European market leader for humidifying systems. Its “Fresh in Fresh out” system produces cold fog which is evaporated over fresh produce, cooling it and raising the relative humidity in order to keep it fresher for longer, as well as reducing waste and saving energy. Contronics systems can be found in supermarkets and cold storage in 25 countries, mostly in Europe, but also further afield. Approximately 12,000 systems are currently operational with market share estimated at over 80%.
