IT’S TIME FOR THE PUBLIC TO GET VOTING IN THE EUROPEAN BUSINESS AWARDS

Hundreds of businesses from 33 countries in Europe are competing for the title of 'National Public Champion' as the public vote opens for the first time in this year's European Business Awards, sponsored by RSM.

Videos from each company, giving powerful insight to the company's business and its successes, have been posted online at the European Business Awards website www.businessawardseurope.com and can be viewed and voted for by the public between 6 January and 24 February 2015. The National Public Champion in each country will be the company that receives the highes number of public votes. Last year over 93,000 votes were cast.

Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards said: “This year’s videos present to the public the most successful and sustainable companies in Europe, and we hope that as many people as possible will take the time to watch the videos, either from their own country or from other countries, and cast their vote.”

Jean Stephens, CEO of RSM International, the seventh largest global network of independent audit, tax and advisory firms, said: “The videos provide a fascinating insight into some of Europe’s most inspiring businesses and the story of their success. With over 93,000 votes cast last year, the public voting stage provides a great opportunity for these companies to showcase their achievements to a wider audience. Good luck to everyone in this round of the competition.”

The second public vote will take place between 3 March 2015 and 16 April 2015, and the result of this final round of voting will be the selection of a ‘European Public Champion’ who will be announced at the Awards Gala event in May 2015.

Separately, the video entries from all National Champions will be reviewed and scored by the European Business Awards’ panel of judges, and on 10 February 2015, the Chairman of Judges will announce the 100 Ruban d’Honneur recipients. The overall European winners of the ten European Business Awards categories will be announced at the same time as the European Public Champion at the Gala Event in May.
