BP TARGET NEUTRAL ANNOUNCED AS NEW CATEGORY SPONSOR FOR EUROPEAN BUSINESS AWARDS 2013/14

BP’s not-for-profit carbon management programme, Target Neutral, has today been confirmed as the sponsor for the European Business Awards’ growth category award. Moving forward the category will be known as “The ‘BP Target Neutral’ Growth Strategy of the Year Award”.

 

This award goes to the organisation that best demonstrates an impressive international organic growth strategy, while showing evidence of sustainable growth in both its business practices and its business models. The companies that make to through to the final rounds need to have achieved outstanding levels of sales, profit and market share improvement but these need to have been reached in line with the aims of the organisation’s values and in particular its environmental and social responsibility.

The European Business Awards is supporting the aims of BP Target Neutral, by setting itself the goal of becoming 100% carbon neutral for the 2013/14 awards. The organisers of the Awards have already offset all of the carbon generated by the 2012/13 Awards ceremony.
