Matthew leads RICS in its most mature market where it has 77,000 chartered professionals and an additional 14,000 trainees. Passionate about building a diverse and inclusive profession that is an inspiring career choice for future generations, Matthew leads the organisation in the UK and Ireland. Matthew is responsible for ensuring RICS engages effectively with all its stakeholders and continues to lead in the development, promotion and regulation of professional standards that provide confidence to the market.

Previously a Partner at RSM, Matthew was responsible for leading the firm’s marketing strategy and growth agenda. He has also lived and worked internationally with Deloitte in numerous roles, most recently as Regional Director of Clients & Markets across the 17 countries of Central Europe.
