The European Business Awards was created to help promote Europe as an innovative and successful trading arena in the face of growing global competitiveness and to highlight outstanding European businesses to a global marketplace.

Businesses too seldom look outside of their immediate sector or region for recognition. The European Business Awards programme embraces entries from businesses of all sectors irrespective of size, age or turnover. It enables all organisations to take an inward view and recognise and reflect upon their success.

On every page of this website we say - "RECOGNISING EXCELLENCE, INNOVATION AND BEST PRACTICE IN EUROPE".

The programme's values are grounded in integrity and transparency. There are three defining principles - business success, innovation and corporate ethics (or good citizenship). While each category has its own separate criteria, every entry is also judged on these three core values.
