Lykke Friis
Lykke Friis (born 1969) is Prorector at the University of Copenhagen. From 2003-2006 she was Director of European Affairs at the Confederation of Danish Industry. Moreover, she is adjunct professor at the Copenhagen Business School. Lykke Friis holds a Ph.D. in international relations from the University of Copenhagen, a Masters Degree in European Studies from the London School of Economics and a Masters Degree in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen.
Lykke Friis has written extensively on EU-affairs, both in English and Danish. She is member of a number of international forums, such as the Trilateral Commission. Recently, she was appointed to the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ think tank on globalisation. Lykke Friis is a frequent commentator on EU and international affairs on Danish Television and has several columns in leading Danish newspapers. In 2002, she was granted The Eisenhower Fellowship for World Prospective Leaders.
