The European Business Awards 2008 was presented at a special presentation luncheon at InterContinental Paris Le Grand (pictured above) on Tuesday 11 March 2008. Ten finalists in each category have received the coveted ‘Ruban d’Honneur’ designating them as one of Europe’s leading organisations.

The presentations was preceded by an invitation-only European Business Forum attended by finalists, judges, advisors and VIP guests.

The European Business Awards, a fully independent programme, recognises and celebrates business excellence across the 27 EU member states. It is supported by sponsors who are progressive organisations committed to promoting business achievements at every level for the overall prosperity of Europe.

The programme serves to show the world that Europe has a vibrant, dynamic and robust economy.

Uniquely, these Awards are open to organisations of different sectors and of any size. The judges use a formula, based on success, innovation and business ethics, which makes it possible for small and medium sized enterprises to compete with big businesses – and win!

A European Advisory Panel of senior executives, economists and top academics contribute to the strategy of The European Business Awards. Their collective business knowledge and wisdom enhances the value of the Awards for all its participants.

The European Business Awards is a brilliant showcase of Europe’s most successful business achievements.
