Professor Niels Bjørn-Andersen

Professor Bjørn-Andersen holds the chair of Information Systems at Copenhagen Business School, and is director of Enterprise Management Systems Laboratory at the same place. His research area is Management of IT and strategy where he has around 200 publications.

He has worked as a visiting professor at seven foreign universities including Manchester Business School, University of California and Australian Graduate School of Business.

He has served on a large number of research committees including the British ESRC and the Norwegian Research Council on Innovation centres. He was also speaker at the Millenium Technology Award ceremony in Helsinki 2002.

He has consulted for a number of international companies, and Government Agencies in Denmark, Faeroe Islands, Greenland, Tanzania, and Sweden.

He was President of the global Association for Information Systems in 1996, and received its distinguished AIS fellowship award in 1999.
