BE THE PRIDE OF EUROPEAN BUSINESS

The European Business Awards is the competition that showcases Europe’s business skills and competencies to the rest of the world. Companies only have one more month to enter the awards as the deadline for entries is the 18 th October

“European business is innovative and talented and it is important that we showcase examples of this brilliance. For the rest of the world the European Business Awards is an advert of our abilities and for Europe, an example for all of us of what is possible,” said Adrian Tripp, Chief Executive of the European Business Awards.

Jean-Paul Votron CEO FORTIS and winner of The Business Leader of the Year at the European Business Awards 2007 said: “As CEO of Fortis, I was both honoured and delighted to be awarded the title of European Business Leader of the Year in the 2007 awards. In an extremely competitive global market, it is important to recognise the dynamic entrepreneurship of European companies that's why I place the highest value on this accolade from an internationally respected and rigorously judged competition.”

For winning companies the recognition and exposure is very powerful as the European Business Awards has extended its partnership with The Wall Street Journal Europe and has set collaborations with important national Media Patrons. “Every business day The Wall Street Journal Europe reports on business issues and companies across the region.  Our association with the European Business Awards allows us to honour the best of these companies and the vision and energy of their leaders,” said Jonathan Wilson, director of marketing and business development, The Wall Street Journal Europe.

The names of the winners will be revealed on 11 March 2008 at the high profile Awards Ceremony held in the InterContinental Le Grand Paris in Paris and attended by Europe’s business elite. The entry deadline is 18 October 2007.

The European Business Awards is supported by forward thinking organisations, CMS Legal Services EEIG and Société Générale, which are committed and believe in the growth of European economies.

"Société Générale is pleased to extend its partnership of the European Business Awards this year and fully supports its mission to recognise excellence, best practice and innovation, qualities we equally uphold. We have chosen the category "Customer Focus" which we believe is the key factor of success for businesses around the world today. Through the European Business Awards, we are delighted to recognise companies who also put clients at the heart of their business,” says Bruno Bassac, Deputy Head, European Coverage.

“CMS Legal Services EEIG continues to believe in the aims of the European Business Awards. Our firms across Europe work hard each day to help our national and international clients manage profitable businesses.
