EUROPEAN BUSINESS AWARDS 2008

OPEN FOR ENTRIES

 

The prestigious European Business Awards 2008 is now open for entry from any business whatever size and from any sector that operates in the 27 countries of the EU. Six categories allow a broad choice of opportunity for companies to showcase their success. The entry deadline is 25 October 2007 and the winners will be announced in Paris on 11 March 2008.

 

The European Business Awards20 08 has officially opened for entries from businesses from all the 27 countries of the European Union. Businesses of any size and from all sectors have until 25 October to enrol in one or more of the six categories of The European Business Awards:

 

  • The Siemens Business Innovation of the Year Award
  • The CMS Business of the Year Award
  • The Société Générale Award for Customer Focus
  • The Entrepreneur of the Year Award
  • The Grey EMEA Growth Strategy of the Year Award
  • The AXA Award for Corporate responsibility
  • The Business Leader of the Year Award (by nomination only)
  • The Lifetime Achievement Award (by nomination only)

Utilising the underlying principles of success, innovation and business ethics will ensure that promising entrepreneurs can compete next to giant corporations with equal chances to lift the coveted trophies. The Awards truly showcase the best of European business achievements: t he combined turnover of entrants in 2007’s programme was €336billion representing profit of £30billion and employing 430.00 people.

 

“We are ready to receive outstanding business success stories from across Europe. All business organisations in Europe – including public sector – are encouraged to enter the programme. Everyone can get involved,” said Adrian Tripp, chief executive of The European Business Awards. “The aim of the European Business Awards is to celebrate business success, recognise innovation and promote inspiration!”

 

The Awards are sponsored by forward-thinking businesses that actively promote and encourage the recognition of business success in Europe. The sponsors are CMS Legal Services, Société Générale, Grey EMEA, Siemens and AXA.

 

Made up of six categories, short listed finalists will be announced in mid November 2007 allowing them time to prepare to make their presentations in person before an independent, expert judging panel in January. The names of the winners will be revealed on 11 March 2008 during a glittering Awards Ceremony held in the InterContinental Le Grand Parisin Paris.
